One year.

It has been a full year, to the day since I got home from my race. thanksgiving right off the field is hard. I had just flown in from Asia and had the worst jet lag. the food was fantastic it was good to have most of my family there, I felt bad for falling asleep at 3 in the afternoon. Now looking back on the year, I have driven halfway across the US twice, lived in a new state, worked with some awesome people. made incredible friends, and started squad leading,

Thanksgiving is looking different this year I am surrounded by a group of young men and a host family. In the mountains of Cuzco Peru. yes, we all miss the places we call home in the states, but for today we are a family. cooking things we have never tried before, with ingredients we have never seen before.

“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Happy Thanksgiving!
